Happy New Year

The New Year is a time to reflect on your life, take stock of what has occurred over the last year and to look forward to what you want to accomplish.

My 2015 was a year marked with hills and valleys. So far, 2016 has been marked with new inspiration, opportunities, and renewed faith.

The end of 2015 and the beginning of 2016 has been full of call-backs. That is when a Casting Director wants to see you audition again, for consideration on a particular project. It feels good to get a call-back; you know they like you, you’re in their sights and that much closer to booking the “gig”. What’s more important, I find is that I go into the room confident and leave proud of the work I do in the room.

Don’t wait for a callback, to feel great about your art. Start cultivating that attitude of appreciation for your gifts now. It will make any opportunity you encounter that much sweeter.
