Beautiful Detour

     Happy New Year.  Three months into the New Year, so much has transpired and many lessons learned.

     Sometimes pursuing your passion & dreams can cost what seems friendships, relationships & comfort.  In pursuit of art & creativity it is impossible to maintain a fixed routine.  Creativity sometimes demands a quick change, or burst of energy in order to reach a new level.  One of my goals is to be on Broadway, but when the opportunity came to go to Vermont to play the role of ‘Lyons’ in ‘Fences’ I had to take it. 

     Being a creative spirit requires change.  When life throws you a curve ball don’t view it as a strike out.  See yourself as if you’ve hit a homerun.  Sadness comes when we become frustrated on what life was/ is supposed to be. 

     Remember when one door closes another door opens.
